This is a beautiful pair of goggles with an iris aperture in the left side behind a cross hair lens, and a pair of magnifying loupes on the right. The iris aperture operates smoothly to "stop down" the eye piece like a camera lens does. The iris lever is moved along a milled slot in the eye piece.
The rim pieces are machined in my studio and are round and very smooth.
Leather on this one is brown waxed and curried chap-weight leather, which gets better and better looking as you wear it. Strap is fully adjustible with brass buckle and hardware. One of the finest steampunk goggles I have built!
