Steampunk culture is evocative of a bygone Victorian Era which never truly existed (or did it?). It is a glamorous and intriguing phenomenon, where flamboyant brocade corsets meet brass and steam powered robots in a mechanical frothy frenzy of nostalgia and innovation.
The Necessary Clutch Wallet (NCW) is a amazingly well designed Clutch Wallet or Purse (here in the UK). It is a phenomenon in the US and Canada where it has literally thousands of makers and fans with a Facebook fan page all of its own. Not often available outside the US. Each wallet takes several hours to cut and sew. This wallet is made with my own fabric design and not available anywhere else.
This is the mini version of the NCW the finished dimensions are approx 5 ½ inches wide by 4 inches high and 1 inch deep
My NCWs are handmade in Scotland from printed cotton and cotton poplin. They are sewn on a vintage hand crank Singer Sewing Machine.
Please note, I often stage my photos with various props which are not included, (I need my scissors to cut out the next one.)
