   This is a beautiful garment, delivered in a timely manner. I purchased the xxl, as I fit a 24 top, and it fits nicely. Worth bearing in mind that it is from woven cotton, so it won’t feel as stretchy as the usual jersey fabric nighties. Fits well both with and without undergarments. The cotton is a good weight, so the item is not too transparent. It is well made, with excellent finish quality, beautiful lace and ribbon trimming, gorgeous smocking and ruffle details. The neckline has a square cut to it, but it is cut to a nicely modest level, not too low or revealing. I am 5’3, it comes nicely to my ankles. I bought it to pamper myself on a trip to the hospital, and it certainly has taken my mind off that, and transported me into a world of Jane Austen fantasy! Comes with a lovely little gauze presentation bag, which would be a lovely detail if giving as a present. Be careful not to unpack it if you are giving it away, it is hard to get it back in in the precise neat folds it comes in. I usually get around to writing reviews for amazon ‘sometime’ but I am so pleased with this item that I had to review it right away. My only problem is that I can’t think of an excuse to need to buy another one.

   I am a size 18 in tops and 5′ 6″ . I ordered the L X size and the nightdress is a good fit it’s also a perfect length , just to the ankle so no chance of catching foot in the hem when going downstairs. I love the quality of the cotton fabric and is very well made. I am impressed.

   Delightful cotton, full length nightdress. Bought for my Christmas and I am very happy with it. I am 5ft 4.5ins (don’t forget that half inch! ;-)) and it comes to just above my ankles. It is very soft and comfortable to wear. I am a (UK) 18/20 and there is plenty of room. It is comfortable to wear in bed, not tight but not too big either. I hope to get another one soon.
