When Lady Arabella Trunkett comes upon a young boy hidden away in an insane asylum, she’s doubly outraged to discover he’s the son of a wealthy lord of the realm. Seems the starchy and pompous Lord Wentworth wants no part of his oldest son’s crazy exploits and explosive experiments.
But Lady Arabella recognizes the child’s eccentric behavior is actually an outpouring of undirected genius. Determined to right this terrible wrong, she rescues him from the asylum and takes him to live with her, convinced she can turn his brilliance in a non-incendiary direction.
Lord Wentworth is not pleased when he discovers Belle’s interference with his dastardly plan. He’ll stop at nothing to retrieve his heir and return him to the dark depths of the asylum so his “normal” second son can inherit his title.
Unfortunately, he didn’t count on Arabella…and her multi-shooter.
