The Octopus Kraken hair cage is 3D printed from an eco friendly PLA filament, which is vegan friendly, biodegradable and compostable. Made mostly from corn starch and natural ingredients, this is an environmentally responsible plastic.
Each item is 3D printed and then shaped by me, so each one is unique. There will be visible layer lines in the finished product, as is the nature of 3D printed items. This does not at all take away from the beauty of the final product. Since these are printed from PLA plastic, they are solid in color and will not ware or tarnish. They are safe to get wet from the rain and are washable with a gentle cloth.
The cutlass swords have a front and back. I print them with supports, so the back side isn't as pretty as the front wherever the supports and the cutlasses meet during printing. I do not use any vapor baths or do any post printing sanding or polishing, this is the raw 3D print. I use mine right off of the printer.
🐙⚔- Large size is approximately 3 – 3.5 x 3 – 3.5 inches wide and includes 2 cutlass pins. This is intended for longer or thicker hair types.
🐙⚔- Medium size is approximately 2.5 x 2.5 inches wide and includes 2 cutlass pins. This is intended for shorter or thinner hair types.

You may request different colors for the cutlasses, just be sure to attach a note to the seller on your order and I will oblige!
To wear this hair cage, first put your hair up as normal with a hair tie or scrunchie, then place the octopus pin on top however looks\feels best to you and then slide in the cutlass swords through the tentacles and voila! You have a fancy octopus friend hanging out in your hair! They're so cute and functional! What's not to love, right? <3
Some people have expressed worry that the tentacles are too thin and will break, I assure you, this is not an issue. The material is made to bend and it is quite resilient. Still do treat this item with care, however.
Even though the material is quite resilient and springy, it can still break if too much force is used and you needn't use any force with this item in the first place.
Keep away from heat and long hours in direct sunlight, as it's melting temp is around 200 C.
