4" top hat – Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Victorian, Tea Party, Lolita, Rockabilly, Retro, Kitsch, Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton, Johnny Depp. This listing is for one fully trimmed mini top hat called 'The Mad Hatter'.

Handmade in milliners quality buckram and covered in luxury brocade fabric in golds, blacks, browns and oranges. Trimmed with satin bias binding to the brim, the hat is then heavily decorated with organza and taffeta ribbon, and satin and taffeta ribbon flowers. Finished with a mix of antique glass vintage buttons, brass charms and handmade hat pins and ticket.

There are three hidden elastic 'loops' to secure a hair band, hat comb or hair pins (not included). The hat is lightweight and very easy to wear and can easily be positioned and secured at the appropriate 'jaunty' angle!

This mini top hat measures 4" from brim to crown. All my hat designs are available in other sizes, including a micro top hat measuring just 3" from brim to crown and larger riding and 3/4 sizes.

All my hats are made from scratch, they are NOT covered cheap hat bases, but lovingly handmade from scratch, using authentic patterns and techniques. Every hat pattern piece is cut by hand. My crowns, brim bias, trimmings and linings are all hand sewn where possible. Each hat takes many hours to finish! As I am a craftswoman, I do not mass produce, but each hat is loving made for for individual clients. As I use vintage items, I cannot promise all trimmings will match exactly, but as close as possible to my sample hat pictured. This means each and every hat is unique to all my customers!
