This is a lovely rolled top bag made from an authentic 1940s pattern. The material is 100% wool felt. It is lined with a pale coffee coloured satin.
Approximate measurements 29 cm by 18 cm (rolled down) by 7cm at widest points
The sides are lined with buckram for added strength and the base has a plastic reinforcement strip to keep it in line, I don’t use card as that would not be sufficient and once wet no good at all. I’m sure you have all had bags like that.
