This is: An original vintage antique blouse/jacket from the late Victorian era.
Black rayon fitted bodice with a large embroidered net gathered collar, sleeves and cuffs.
One press-stud at the front and one at each cuff..
Beautiful rare item with a few wear issues, but nothing noticeable that would detract from this lovely garment: there is a fine net layer (possibly silk) underneath the embroidered net lace (sleeves and collar) which has perished or teared in parts. It is so fine it is hardly noticeable, but still worth mentioning. Also, the cuffs need some neatening up as the wrist openings have opened up a little. Great overall condition for a garment of this age.
