This statement necklace is made from an assemblage of vintage brooches.
I have wired together three brooches in a floral theme. The left and middle ones have no missing stones, but the one on the right has one missing and a couple look like they have been replaced/reset at some stage.
To make the chain I interspersed vintage aurora borealis beads from an old necklace and new clear faceted, bicone and round glass beads.
The necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm) in length and fastens with a vintage shepherd's hook S clasp. I can add extra chain to make it longer if required, just let me know!
All my statement and assemblage designs will be one-off OOAK – it would be unlikely that I could find the same vintage brooches and pieces even if I wanted to make more than one!
