This pair of handmade fabric steampunk arm warmers or wrist cuffs are an amalgamation of my scrap pile, and as a result are unique.
They were constructed from a number of autumnal fabrics from a jumper, a pair of trousers and fabric swatches, namely greens, browns and oranges, these fabrics include corduroy, felt, plaid/tartan and cottons. Each wrist cuff is held closed by three buttons, and loops.
They are also fairly lightweight, and because of the materials they are made of, they will will breathe more easily than other bracers made of leather.
To make this pair of wrist cuffs truly steampunk, they are detailed with watch cogs and buttons, and a small length of chain.
This pair or wrist cuffs are filled with character and would be the perfect accessory for a steampunk outfit, or for simply adding a touch of steampunk to an everyday outfit

They are constructed to fit the larger wrist, the loops used to fasten it are longer than average. The wrist cuffs measure 11cm/4.3 inches lengthwise, so generally cover about half the forearm,and they measure 18cm/7 inches across at the wrist, and about 22cm/8.6 inches at their widest point.
