Gratler is made up of a hairy coral and fungus that trails from his lower body. From the torso upwards, he is composed completely of a rare and unbreakable slate. Little is known of his origins, he is a very mysterious creature. All that is known is based on the tales of weary fisherman.They said he lived in a great deep cave on the South Dorset coast, he collected the finest pearls in a vast vessel. The light the pearls gave off is said to emit the most amazing light. On rare occasions a beam light can be seem shinning from the cave into the moonlit skies.
