The sides of the dress are made with a beautiful loosely woven raw silk gauze with ruffles up the side, this looks like nettle gauze but is much much softer as is made from handloom silk. This dress uses up 5 meters of raw silk altogether! Its got a beautiful weight to it for dancing, light but full, I always prefer strong materials over thin, handlooms being my favourite!
