For the lady or gentleman who finds herself / himself in need of more pockets in her life, Blue Moon Designs is delighted to present our new holster hoodie! Made from reclaimed fabrics, each holster hoodie is lovingly made by hand in my Vallejo studio. Perfect for everyday or at the Burn, this shoulder holster makes a great replacement for that heavy purse, with plenty of room for a phone, wallet, and keys without the bulk and asymmetry of a heavy purse or satchel.
This holster hoodie is made from tan striped chenille upholstery fabric, and features on both sides one large pointed pocket topped by a smaller square pocket with a flap that snaps securely closed. There is a handy d-ring at the bottom point of the large pocket, and the deep-cowled, lined hood is decorated with a length of fancy trim along the front edge. Best of all, the hood is REMOVABLE via a row of snaps that allow you to wear the holsters with or without the hood. Three metal grommets laced with ribbon give a bit of adjustment across the width of the shoulder in back, and the double snap at the shoulder front allows for a little extra room around the arm if needed. An overlapping strap across the front over the chest allows for a secure closure with three snaps which adjust for comfort and a secure fit.
This holster hoodie is a size Small.
Small shoulder width (shoulder tip to shoulder tip, across the front) : 14-16"
Small armhole (around the arm at the shoulder) : 15-17"
Ideal for wearers who are approximately 5'0" – 5'6" tall.
How to determine your proper size:
Blue Moon's holster hoodies rely on both horizontal (across the shoulders) and vertical (around the arm) measurements to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Measure across your chest from shoulder tip to shoulder tip in the front (shoulder width). You can simulate the size of the holster's armhole by placing a measuring tape on your shoulder tip, wrapping it under your armpit, and then back up again to the shoulder tip at the listed measurement. The top of the pocket will begin about 2-3 inches below the bottom of that loop of measuring tape. Also when you are selecting your size, you will want to factor in how tall you are and how flexible your shoulders are, so the pockets aren't hitting too low on your hip and you can reach your hand comfortably into the pockets.

Small – shoulder width 14-16" ; armhole 15-17" ; 5'0" – 5'6" tall
Medium – shoulder width 16-18" ; armhole 17-20" ; 5'5" – 5'10" tall
Large – shoulder width 19-21" ; armhole 20-22" ; 5'8" – 6' tall
Extra Large – shoulder width 21-23" ; armhole 23-25" ; 6' tall and up
