This corset will be made custom to your measurements (see below for size limits), out of a white silk dupioni. It will be lined with 2 layers of cotton twill (it can be lined with cotton corset coutil instead in white for $ 25 extra). Bone casings are internally created, and the inside is just as smooth and clean looking as the outside. It is bound on the top and bottom edges with matching silk dupioni, hand stitched to the inside.
This corset's main feature is the fan lacing across the back, which makes it easier to tighten the corset. The lacing attaches to 2 silver buckles through grosgrain ribbon which crosses the front in an 'x' and tucks under the corset, allowing for slack from the lacing.
This corset has a 13" silver steel busk, and finished front length is approximately 14". Gunmetal metallic is also available.
There are 24 steel bones placed throughout the corset to cinch in your waist while also placed in position to be comfortable on your body. The spiral steel bones are on the curved seams, with spring steel supporting the busk and grommets. The corset laces in the back with 2 piece silver grommets, which are smooth against the skin, and laces with black satin ribbon.
I made the pattern for this corset, custom designed, based on Victorian patterns, but modified to fit the bodies of modern women. This pattern is designed to curve dramatically in for a cinched waist, while keeping room for the ribs and hips for a perfect hourglass figure.
The corset can be made in any measurements below 30" corseted waist, and 40" corseted bust/hip. (Other sizes please contact me!)
Corsets are generally made 4" smaller than your natural waist measurement. Please make sure you measure properly as this is a custom piece, there are no returns. I will send you a measurement diagram after purchase, with the measurements I need, and help you with any questions you have regarding where to measure to make sure your corset fits perfectly. It will take 2-3 weeks for construction and shipping from when payment clears and measurements are submitted.
I can ship internationally, but please keep in mind the customs charges of your own country, as you will be responsible for them.
