This one-of-a-kind versatile 1860s ensemble beautifully depicts an opulent era in history for both day and night outings. Whether at an indoor ball or outside caroling, you will be the best dressed lady for miles around.
This lovely 4 piece dress is created with only the finest materials, the main tartan purple, lavender and pink plaid fabric looks just right for the era. This ball gown bodice laces up the back with boning to ensure proper fit and a touch of elegance. Striped lavender satin accents the plaid fabric in the bodice and sleeves. The back lace up with silver grommets, light pink satin ribbon and a modesty panel. The drawstring, off the shoulder neck line is surrounded by a ruffle made of vintage rose pink lace as well as the cuffs and skirt. The bodice is fully boned so a corset is not necessary. The full 5 yard skirt closes in back. To change it to a day/calling outfit, a pagoda sleeve jacket in the same fabric and a natural muslin blouse complete with vintage lace and a button up back can be paired with the skirt.
