For women's Steampunk clothing adherents, here's a black satin corset, replete with laces and hooks and lots of Victorian embellishments, It's a modern-day corset that I have "Steampunk'd". Straps are detachable, adjustable elastic straps. This is a real corset that closes in front with 19 hooks and eyes (one row only) and laces up in the back with LONG ribbons to adjust size. It has 12 vertical stays and loops to attach garters, if you want them. It dips low in front. No padding or molding in the cups and they are "shelf" style cups.
I have added a vintage chain belt from the 60s. It's antique'd silvertone metal. Lots of loops to hang gadgets from, but I have included a pair of old (30s) sunglasses that were made to attach to regular glasses but now can be seen as pince-nez. One the other side of the belt, I have added a small embellished lock (it does not come off the belt) Add more if you wish!.
Up top on one side is an old chain (I mixed gold and silver metals) and on that chain are some old antique and vintage jewelry pieces. There is one Victorian locket (and it has a surprise inside!). On the other side is a very old watch (it doesn't work) and from the decorative watchband hangs an embellished key.
EVERYTHING COMES OFF, so you can switch it around. The chain and the watch are attached with tacks (like tie tacks) and there's one Art Deco brooch that no longer has stones (shown on the right in photo 3) .
The corset is new, unused, and was made by Dreamgirl.
Stated size is 36. Measurements are below, and please note that this is VERY adjustable due to the laces in the back!
MEASUREMENTS are given at the SMALLEST, with the laces at their TIGHTEST. You would be safe adding up to 4" to what's given here:
BUST: 32"
UNDERBUST/midriff: 29"
WAIST: 29
LENGTH in front: 16" (straps not included in measurement)
LENGTH in back: 10 1/2" (straps not included in measurement)
