"Steampunk Wearable Art – Textile Cuffs with Focus" – Steampunk Jewelry by edmdesigns

Base of Cuff:
Assemblage using layers of black velvet, black leather strips. Altering textures of fringed velvets and torn leathers. Strong textured BLACK SUEDE side bands with hand stitched and "machine run wild" freeform embellished patterns of threading. Look closely at the enlargements.

Two adjustable fasteners will keep this beauty in place with stretchy loops that wraps around two matching black, LARGE PLUSH velvet, hand sewn and covered antique buttons. Lower portion displays the gathers of grey grid mesh that everyone asks for and has a fabulous scooped multi-dimensional finish to this EXTRAORDINARY textile cuff. Very comfy….

Focals and Details:
Mounted to this cuff you will find a vintage brass plaque studded with loads of SOLID brass large clock gears sewn through the openings of the focal. This is laid onto a bed of red plume, feathers. Added focals are a silver antique skeleton key, SEVERAL more brass watch gears and wheels, a silver ox Victorian style plaque with dapped (raised) flourishes, a STUNNING GLASS button with RED RHINESTONE center, brass cuckoo-cuckoo clock chain, hand hammered wired coils. Wonderful collage of mixed metals and materials for a gorgeous effect.

Specs (approx.):
Band: 9" long x 6 1/2 ". This cuff easily accommodates a WIDE RANGE of wrist sizes. Many people love wearing these over their other tops, jackets, etc so you can get several looks – we allow for this range and its very easy to adjust when you need to do so. If a smaller size is desired, please send us a message so the closure can be modified to your specifications.
