Crafted from genuine black vegetable tanned cowhide, 7-8 oz leather (1/64 to 1/8 think). Each piece is hand cut and holes punched by hand. Each piece is then sealed with a water proofing liquid. (Does not mean it can be worn in water. Water is not good for any leather)
