What a fun Victorian bustle skirt. This is very Sweeney Todd in style and design. This victorian gored design in cotton is very flattering on the figure. Cut in a way to slim you.
This is a listing for a custom made bustle skirt. Wonderful ruffles make this so much fun to wear. Mix and match with your reenactment wardrobe. Great for Steampunk or kind of Sweeney Todd-ish. This is a very simple version of Mrs. Lovett's skirt but at a very reasonable price. Simple fabrics but a wonderful design.
Made from a lightweight cotton fabric. It has a classic 5 gore design to it that was so often seen during the Victorian times.
The bottom of the skirt has a large ruffle gathered on to it. The ruffle measures 15" in width and several yards of fabric make up this ruffle. It closes on the side with a hook and bar closure. Size is determined by your waist measurement.
The back of the skirt has a ruffle overlay attached to the waistband. The overlay has 5 rows of ruffles made from the same fabric as the rest of the skirt. This gives a great "bustled" look. This skirt can be worn with a formal bustle, a bustle pillow or no bustle at all.
The skirt is made from 7 yards of cotton fabric gathered and ruffled to make this beautiful creation. Would be a great addition to your wardrobe.
