Knowing what was considered proper etiquette was taken very seriously in the Victorian era. The formal language and strict rules of social interaction in etiquette books are sometimes reminscent of a romantic Jane Austen novel.

The words “Be careful not to show your ankles, however pretty they are, 1888 Etiquette” are in a delicate white font on a black background, the design has been placed in a silver plated pendant (25 mm x 18 mm) and encased in glass for a high quality, enduring finish. (Any imperfections are light reflections on the glass)
Complimenting the main pendant are 3 adorable charms, the sweetest little Victorian ladies boots (23 x 10 mm), a bead capped faux pearl (6mm round) and a delicate little heart. (13 x 16 mm)
