The real attention to detail is truly amazing, with a finish that the photographs don’t pick out. I was actually stunned to find this little gem ticking away when unpacked, thinking that I’d bought a well designed prop. But no. It is indeed a fully working, very stylized pocketwatch.
The weight feels just about right,the ticking mechanism is surprisingly quiet and aside from the included chain which sometimes feel a little delicate, in as far as to support the full weight of the watch as a ‘necklace’, it is a great purchase.
I how happily carry it around with me now on special occassions. Needless to say, it serves as a neat conversation starter and anyone who’s a fan of the likes of unusual, quirky items will adore this as a gift.
