This high quality red and black velvet rose is approx. 4 1/2 inches wide. It has a 5 inch plastic skeleton body strategically placed. I have fastened a metal alligator clip with a coordinating piece of felt in a way that best supports the flower and its weight. Although not very heavy, it stays in place best when worn on the side of a pony tail or with a bobby pin. Lots of compliments on this one!
