A texture -rich confection in white, soft cream and ecru has a dash of black and a profusion of lace, vintage damask & embroidery, ruffles and a lace rose pin. Two pockets – one outside and one safely tucked inside – are made from a vintage napkin hand-worked by the mother of my 75-year-old friend. The damask is from a tablecloth used for many years by my mother and passed to me.
New meets old with the addition of ruffles, embroidered lace, broiderie anglaise, and braid upcycled from clothing and given new purpose as a unique Art to Wear design signed by Peacock & Rose.

SIZE GUIDE – petite to plus size.
The top of the bustle stretches 38 – 40" / 97 – 102 cm plus ties of 39" / 100 cm each side.
Length 11 – 18" / 28 – 46 cm.
Cotton ties allow you to wrap it to a minimum 25" waist, let out the ties to increase the size, or wear open-fronted for goddess size. The lace rose brooch can pin to fasten the skirt or wear as an accessory.

Each unique 'Peacock Rose' design is lovingly created inspired by vintage and re-discovered materials by my own hands in a little studio overlooking the Yorkshire hills.
