"Steampunk Wearable Art – Textile Cuffs with Focus" – Steampunk Jewelry by edmdesigns
Base of Cuff:
Sturdy base of black black twill, ribbed cotton, layer of charcoal mesh grid fabric, layered with black leather, alternating strips and remnants of mesh and leather. Signature fringed edges on top and bottom of wrist cuff, (exceptionally comfortable!) lower pointed segments looks fabulous. Strong textured BLACK LEATHER side bands with hand stitched and "machine run wild" freeform embellished patterns of threading. Look closely at the enlargements.
The opposing sides is fashioned "loop" style so there are 2 individual, hand sewn LEATHER looped tabs with stretch loops that serve as closures using the large mesh covered silver buttons on other side.
Focals and Details:
Large sterling silver thick gauge rings fashioned in Chainmaille design to create three larger portions of metal layers on the cuff, with 2 additional smaller drops of chainmaille for a continuous run of chain across the width of this unique and STUNNING cuff! Over 80-some ring used to create the segments of metals draping beautifully and perfectly on the cuff. The sterling silver content alone makes this a luxe cuff. A lot of detailed hand work is involved in this cuff aside all the materials, but the sterling silver rings interlocking to create the dazzling focals are surely worth it. (and a few other Chainmaille cuffs newly listed in shop) Its really AWESOME! Completely UNISEX and rocking!
Specs (approx.):
Cuff Band: " long x 4 1/2 " at longest/widest point. When closed it is approx. 8 inches. Cuff is easily adjustable for a perfect fit for anyone.
