These are beautiful Neo Victorian style Steampunk earrings. I've used very intricate patterned gunmetal over silver plated, detailed stampings – you will see floral embossed (raised) accents as well as sweet little petals littered between the florals – really gorgeous! There are soldered to a gunmetal scalloped bezel cup into which I placed matching petite oval, vintage ruby jeweled ROSE GOLD watch mechanisms. There are gleaming steel plates and exquisite genuine ruby jewels set within these small clock work, timepieces. You can see exposed brass gears that pop through to loan even more "mechanical" look They shimmer as you move. Original regulator is present and a eye-popping BOLD ruby set within gold bezel setting on balance cock portion. Just Gorgeous!
They are hung from matching lever back ear hooks with a fleur di lis accents. The earrings are very feminine and add just the right amount of vintage and sparkle as it allows you to show off your "Steamy" side . Extremely comfortable and "barely-there" feeling. The lever back ear wires are hypoallergenic (nickle & lead free) so even those with sensitive ears can look like a million dollars wearing these beauties. If you would like these switched out for "fish hook" style ear wires, please leave a note to Seller and I will switch them out for you at no charge.
The highly ornate filigree earrings measures 1 1/2" as a dangle and 2 1/4" overall.
