A few weeks ago I was away helping my 90 year old mom sort through years of Knick Knacks and Miscellaneous items in her storage. What we didn’t give to Salvation Army we loaded up bag after bag of items to be thrown away. What she decided to keep she wanted me to sell for her on Etsy. I will be listing more as time goes on. This is one of her items.
Fantastic pair of Willson Goggles still in their original box. Fantastic Steampunk accessory that would add to your Victorian wardrobe. These metal glasses could use some cleaning and perhaps a new strap. However if you want it all original, I am sure you would only have to take a few stitches to tighten it and be on your way. Shown on my life-size Bru reproduction doll, the glasses are perhaps from either the 20’s or the 30’s. Not really sure but these belonged to my step father who was born in 1905. The front part of the goggles measure 4- 5/8 front and 6.50 x 2-7/16 on back. I am sure you can adjust them as there seems to be a little strap at the bridge. The lens could use some windex but I left them as they are and the new owner can clean or not clean as they see fit.
